Inviting and warm, River Dog Retreat is full of carefully placed details and well-planned spaces, both indoors and out. There are numerous comfy spots to enjoy and unwind, whether it’s to curl up with your dog and read a book in the cozy living room, stretch out and soak up the sun on the front deck, barbecue on the large back deck or meditate on the tree filled hills from the covered front porch. Plus, the upper yard is now fully fenced, so your dog can also unwind and relax at his leisure!
The main indoor and outdoor living areas at River Dog Retreat are situated on the second story. A flight of stairs leads up from the front driveway to a covered porch that offers comfy cushioned outdoor furniture. From the porch, the front door opens into the living room, complete with knotty pine walls, wood floors, high ceilings, a large picture window, flat screen television and a fireplace with wood stove insert. Directly behind and to the right of the living room is a short hallway that leads to 3 restful, comfortable bedrooms and 1 bathroom with a bathtub and shower combo.
The open dining and kitchen areas sit to the back and left of the living room. Attractive and well-appointed, these areas are central to both outdoor decks. The back door opens directly from the kitchen to the large, shady back deck with an outdoor dining set, gas grill, and 2 lounge chairs. To the side of the back deck is the spa deck and a 4 person spa. Doors off the dining area open to a smaller, sunny front deck also equipped with an outdoor dining table and small gas grill. The kitchen has a gas range, refrigerator with an icemaker. It does not feature a dishwasher. The dining table comfortably seats 6 guests.
The downstairs, accessed from the exterior, has a small recreation room with a foosball and dart board. Also downstairs is another full bathroom with a shower and a laundry room with a washer and dryer.

BATHROOMS: There are 2 full bathrooms at River Dog Retreat (1 is upstairs in the main living area and 1 is downstairs, off the recreation room). The lower level is accessible from the exterior only.
HEAT SOURCE: Forced air central heat; wood-burning stove (no firewood or kindling provided).
LOCATION: This is a rustic and rural Russian River neighborhood.
ADDITIONAL AMENITIES: Downstairs recreation room with foosball and dart board. Wine cooler in kitchen.
STANDARD AMENITIES NOT INCLUDED: The home does not have a dishwasher.
ADDITIONAL FEES: Cleaning Fee of $120, 11% Tax on Rent and Cleaning, $20 Booking Fee and Refundable Security Deposit
Rental Restrictions:
2 night minimum October - most of May (excludes some holidays).
3 night minimum Memorial Day Weekend - September.
4 night minimum July and August.
Week minimum the first week in July and the first week in August.

*Most River Docks, Beaches, and Boats (Canoes, Kayaks, Paddle Boats) are seasonal and available mid June – mid September only, providing the summer dams are in.
