Dog Friendly / Internet / Riverfront / Spa Just Listed - Pyramid House, an architectural delight, is a rare find in a vacation rental. Not only are all the most desirable amenities offered, including river access and views, a hot tub, a gas fireplace, privacy, redwoods, dog friendly and high-end electronics, the house itself is unique and offers its lucky guests one-of-a-kind accommodations. Add numerous windows, comfortable beds with memory foam mattresses and fine linens, delicate touches and serene privacy, and you have a truly outstanding place to stay.
The interior at Pyramid House is nothing short of amazing. The very open floor plan is at the same time both elegant and cozy. The entire home is one large pointed structure, a side of which can be viewed in its entirety from the main floor. On the main living level is a large, window-filled living room with the fireplace, a flat-screen TV, ample and comfortable seating, a dining table that easily seats 8, a well-appointed kitchen, and one of the two bathrooms. From the far corner of the living room, a few short steps lead down to the lower bedroom, which is partitioned off from the rest of the house by a curtain and a tucked-away location.
On the far side of the main living level, stairs wind and wander up the pyramid, first reaching a sweet sleeping loft/reading nook with two futons that each convert into a twin bed, and finally arrive at the master bedroom and bath. The master bedroom, with a loft-style side that opens to the main house, has a flat-screen TV, a floor to ceiling window that is so private the blinds never need to be drawn, and an optimum view of the unique sculpture that was created by a previous owner who was an artist and sculptor. The upstairs bathroom has a tub/shower.
The grounds at Pyramid House are studded with large redwood trees, and there are a number of outdoor areas to be enjoyed. The hot tub is situated on the large deck that wraps around the house and overlooks the river. Stairs lead down to a lower level, where, when the weather is good, comfortable Adirondack chairs surround a metal fire pit. The path continues down to the river, where there is sloping, easy access to the water. From mid-June to the end of September, 2 kayaks are available.

BEDROOMS: The house was designed with few interior doors. Visual privacy has been achieved though clever layout rather than typical doorways. The lower bedroom has a curtain partition and the master bedroom is like a loft and is the uppermost "room" in the house. Both bathrooms have doors.
STAIRS: There are two exterior stairs from the driveway to the main level, and the lower bedroom has 3 stairs. The upper bedroom is up a spiral staircase and could be problematic for someone who has difficulty with stairs.
HEAT SOURCE:Thermostat-controlled gas fireplace
