Available mid-April through October only - Named for the 100-year-old olive trees that line the property, Olive Cottage is a comfortable and convenient vacation rental. Olive Cottage offers the best of both worlds with tucked-away, quiet surroundings and a location of only 175 yards from town. Located on "The Hill," one of Guerneville's oldest neighborhoods, this newly remodeled home is steeped in the history of the area. Olive Cottage has an open floor plan accented by high ceilings and tasteful furnishings. The bedroom features a Queen bed. A separate room off the living room features a Double sofa bed. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a dining area for 4 guests. Off the kitchen is a small office with a desk, perfect for setting up your laptop and using the WiFi. The bathroom provides a bathtub/shower combo.
Olive Cottage is also lovely outside, with plenty of sun and ambience. The large deck overlooks olive trees, a sloping yard and a country neighborhood beyond, making it the perfect place to barbecue or take a peaceful break. Olive Cottage is 0.1 mile from Guerneville, 0.5 mile from Johnson's Beach and the Russian River, 2 miles from Armstrong Woods State Park, and 13 miles from the Sonoma Coast. This home is in the heart of the Russian River Valley and the Sonoma Wine Country. Numerous wineries and vineyards are only a short drive away.
