Just Listed ~ Le Petit Soleil is a charming family home with a beautiful yard. With plenty of space to spread out, well-appointed rooms, and loads of amenities (bocce ball!), Le Petit Soleil is an excellent alternative to a hotel for families looking for a central location within a short distance to a number of top-notch Sonoma County activities. Summer fun on the Russian River, at either Steelhead Beach or at Burke’s Canoes, is within walking distance. Numerous wineries are within a 10 minute drive, as are world –class restaurants, shopping, hot-air ballooning and the Santa Rosa Charles Shultz Airport. The towns of Guerneville, Forestville, Sebastopol, Healdsburg, Windsor and Santa Rosa are all within easy driving distance.
Le Petit Soleil is a three level home. The front door is to the main level, which has a small living room with a Flatscreen TV, full kitchen, dining room with windows over the garden, one bedroom with a queen bed and a full bathroom. Stairs from the living room lead to the upper level, which has a bedroom with a queen bed, a bedroom with a twin trundle that can be converted to a queen bed, one full bathroom, and a sunny roof deck. From the dining room, on the main level, there are stairs down to the lower level, which consists of a small second living space and a loft with a twin trundle bed. This lower room is a great place to view the lush surroundings or curl up with a good book.
Located on an unpaved quiet neighborhood lane, the extensive yard is a peaceful and fairly private place to enjoy one of the many outdoor spaces. Closest to the house are the spa area, off the main level bedroom, and, on the opposite side of the house, the outdoor dining and fire pit area. A little past the fire pit is the large BBQ area with lights, table space and 2 charcoal BBQs. Further past the BBQ area is a bocce ball court.
