Set aside some time to relax in the new 6 person spa, or take in the fresh country air while you explore Austin Creek or curl up with a good book while enjoying the sound of the creek's gurgling waters.
Glen Tara’s large living room, modern kitchen, bright dining room, 3 bedrooms and 1 of the full bathrooms are all located on the upper level (the main living level). All 3 bedrooms feature Queen beds. From 2 newly remodeled bedrooms, there are lovely windows to the creek and hills. A skylight illuminates the third bedroom with natural light. The main bathroom has a tub/shower combo and is conveniently located between both main bedrooms. The second bathroom (with a shower) is the only room located on the lower basement level (mostly used for storage). There are interior spiral stairs leading to the lower level bath.
Outdoors at Glen Tara is wild and great for wandering year-round Austin Creek. Experience nature under the giant redwoods with your children or splash in the creek or swim in the swimming holes nearby. Walk down the lane to renown Raymond’s Bakery for fresh baked bread or pizza. The Cazadero Performing Arts Camp is also within walking distance. Glen Tara is approximately a 15 minute drive to the Russian River Resort Area (Guerneville and Monte Rio) or the Sonoma Coast (Jenner and Bodega Bay).
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum occupancy at Glen Tara is 6. Read our Terms & Conditions for more information about our policies, including maximum occupancy.
QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. Outdoor amplified sound is prohibited at any time.
PARKING: On-site parking is permitted for a maximum of 3 vehicles. RVs, trailers and campers are prohibited, per the Sonoma County Vacation Rental Ordinance.
BED SIZES: First bedroom: Queen bed; Second bedroom: Queen bed; Third bedroom: Queen bed
HEAT SOURCE: Central heat. NOTE: Stone fireplace is for decoration only. Plans for future upgrades include a propane fireplace insert.
LOCATION: Private, creekfront. Approximately 5 miles from the Russian River. Cazadero has public basketball and tennis courts.
ADDITIONAL FEES: Cleaning Fee of $130, 11% Taxes on Rent and Cleaning, Damage Protection - see below. Optional Travel Insurance is available at the time of reservation.
DAMAGE PROTECTION:Guests have a choice between a $49 Vacation Rental Damage Protection Fee or a $1000 Refundable Security Deposit. The Vacation Rental Damage Protection is strongly recommended and is the option most guests choose. It covers up to $3000 of accidental damage and can be used for many common guest accidents, such as an excessively dirty hot tub or pet-related damage. A $30 Processing Fee is added to reservations with the Security Deposit option
For security purposes, photos of the home from the street have deliberately been left off our website and the map feature does not show the home's exact location. The pinpoint on the map points to either the start of the neighborhood the home is located in or to the nearest major cross streets.
Two Night Minimum Year-Round except the following:

3 Night Minimum Memorial Day Weekend through June.
4 Night Minimum July and August.
Week Minimum the first week of July and the first week of August.
3 Night Minimum August 27th through September.
